The Expressions from the Heart gift shop is located
on the first floor of the Medical Center near the main
entrance. The gift shop offers a wide variety of snacks,
flowers, balloons, cards, baby gifts, traditional gifts,
and home décor.
You can now use our online
gift shop to send presents to patients!
Cafeteria and snacks
The cafeteria is located in the first floor breezeway of the Medical Center. During the week, three meals a day are served in the cafeteria. No breakfast is served on weekends or holidays. In order to avoid delays for both visitors and employees, it is requested that visitors use the main cafeteria between noon and 1:30 p.m. for the luncheon meal. Snacks are available in the lounge adjacent to the cafeteria and in the Expressions from the Heart gift shop.
Chapel
The chapel is located in the first floor breezeway of the Medical Center. Ministers are available to provide pastoral care, counseling, or a listening ear. If you need assistance in contacting a minister, please inquire at a nursing unit or call extension 3783 on a hospital phone.
Critical Care Family Information Telephone Line
West Georgia Medical Center offers a Critical Care Family Information Telephone Line that the family may call and leave a message. The message must contain the first and last name of the patient. A nurse will respond within 60 minutes of the call, with the exception of a crisis or emergency within the unit. The telephone number is (706) 845-3387.
Language Line
This service provides medically-certified interpreters to help our staff communicate with patients who do not speak English. Our staff members dial a designated AT&T number to link with an interpreter, and the conversation takes place as a three-way call. |
