Process
First
Step: Consultation
You will meet with your
radiation oncologist, who will be in charge of your treatment
plan, to review your medical history, diagnostic tests
and other medical information. After that, your radiation
onocologist will discuss your treatment options and expectations
as well as the planned course of radiation treatment. It
may be helpful to you to have a family member or friend
with you during this visit to take notes or ask questions.
