Parking and Construction
It is an exciting time at West Georgia Health System
with the South Tower construction project well under
way.
The new 130,000 square-foot facility, located on the
south side of the West Georgia Health System campus,
adjacent to the hospital’s heart clinic, will be
designed for vertical expansion and will be able to accommodate
up to 192 beds in the future. The $65 million-project
will feature a new 24-bed ICU, and state-of-the-art cardiovascular
center, Mother-Baby Center, and Emergency Department.
Parking and access to several areas on campus including
the Medical Center, the Enoch Callaway Cancer Clinic
and the Georgia Heart Center will be affected during
construction of the South Tower project. Please plan
extra time to reach your final destination.
We greatly appreciate your patience
and cooperation and apologize for any inconvenience during construction.
Parking
Progress is being
made on several portions of the project.
As of October 6, 2008,
WGHS front entrance and the Enoch Callaway Cancer Clinic parking
lots have now re-opened. Please
view latest campus map.
A golf cart transport is available to pick
up visitors and employees to and from their vehicle. You can summon
a golf cart by using the Security call boxes located in the parking
lots. |
