This annual screening is part of our ongoing efforts to assist you in maintaining your good health and aid you in the early detection of prostate cancer. Fee for PSA and physical exam is $5. Preregistration is required.

KNOW YOUR RISK FOR PROSTATE CANCER:
• Age: The incidence of prostate cancer increases with age. About 64 percent of all prostate cancers are diagnosed in men over age 65.
• Diet: Men who eat high-fat diets, particularly saturated fat, may have a greater chance of developing prostate cancer.
• Family History: The risk of developing prostate cancer doubles if a man’s father or brother has been diagnosed with the disease.
• Race: Prostate cancer occurs more often in African American men than it does in white American men. The reason for this is not know.
